About Xaki

 

Xaki was created by Jenny, Herman and Annika.

It started with Herman and Annika wanting to build a creative media house and work together as photographers. We played with cameras, created photoshoots every week and slowly built a world of our own.

Those images became the foundation of Xaki’s visual identity.

One day, while walking through Grünerløkka, we came across a space for rent. Herman immediately saw its potential — the location, the atmosphere, the space itself. We encouraged him to call, and soon we were on our way to a viewing.

Before the viewing, we started discussing what we could create there. Somehow, the answer became vintage.

The landlord liked our idea and gave us one week to build a pop-up and see where it could go. The pop-up went smoothly. One week became a contract, and Xaki became a physical place.

We then invited Jenny to join us and take responsibility for the financial side of the business.

What started as photography, image-making and a shared creative world became Xaki.
