Refundable security deposit: NOK 3,000. Payable separately before collection, in addition to the rental fee. The deposit is refunded after return and inspection, normally within 3 business days, provided the item is returned in accordance with the rental agreement. Normal wear does not result in deductions. Any deductions for damage must reflect documented, reasonable costs under the agreed terms. Loss or irreparable damage is handled under the rental agreement and may exceed the deposit.

LOSS, THEFT & IRREPARABLE DAMAGE — FULL ARCHIVE VALUE
If the rented item is lost, stolen or damaged beyond reasonable repair while in the renter's care, the renter may be liable for the item's full documented archive replacement value, subject to applicable law and the signed rental agreement. This liability is not limited to the security deposit. Repairable damage is assessed based on reasonable documented repair costs and any proven reduction in value; normal wear and tear is excluded. Any deposit already retained will be credited against the final amount owed. The archive value and item condition must be documented and agreed before rental.
